We chose Morada Sol without ever having visited Portugal as a place to have a post-Covid vacation for a group of six college friends and our families (20 adults and teens in total!). The younger kids stayed at the house below and we stayed in the larger house. We cooked and ate huge, wine-fueled dinners at the stone table, watched Euro Cup in the living room, swam in the pool, picked ripe plums from the garden, and went on wonderful day trips. The staff was very responsive and helpful-- helped us with tours, car rides, suggested a fantastic chef for dinner, and even tracking down Covid test results. It was a fantasy of mine to do this trip and it worked out better than I'd imagined. Obrigada to Gio, Catia and everyone! PS-- the property is very windy-- just be prepared! 🙂

The property was as advertised. It was a little dated but this was clear from the images on the listing. Property was perfectly clean and had everything required, washer, dishwasher, iron, hairdryer etc. The outside/garden/pool space was perfect for a family. The team were very professional and responded to my one small query immediately even though it was a Saturday evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending the estate or the area. There were numerous restaurants and local shops within walking distance. Cascais is a brief 15 mins away in a car with further shopping and eating out choices. Guincho Beach is 10 mins away in a car. We had a wonderful family holiday here. Also a perfect location if you are a fell/trail runner....lots of wonderful routes nearby.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir haben die Unterkunft mit 15 Personen bezogen und haben meine Hochzeit dort in angemessenem Rahmen gefeiert. Das Haus ist wie angegeben ein schönes Haus im Stile eines Landhauses. So würde ich es beschreiben. Da die Lage fantastisch ist, haben wir die meiste Zeit im Umland und am Strand verbracht, welcher mit dem Mietauto in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen ist. Dazu ist ein Einkaufsmöglichkeit auch direkt im Ort. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden.

Die Gastgeber waren immer problemlos erreichbar und stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

A very peaceful and beautiful place!
We were very lucky to find this gem in Cascáis. The views are great. The flowers and plants surrounding the house make you feel super special.

The swimming pool is a good size and has a deep side to it, which is fun. The fact that is enclosed makes it nicer temperature wise when getting out of the water.

We enjoyed our time in Geranium and we would definitely come back!

Très belle et spacieuse villa. Avec un emplacement parfait pour visiter cascais, sintra et même Lisbonne qui se trouve à seulement une demi heure de route.

Bom local para dias em família, onde as crianças podem usufruir de espaço e de uma boa piscina que, por estar coberta, permite usá-la todos os dias independentemente do clima !

Maison d’architecte originale et très agréable dans un cadre verdoyant très bien entretenu, dans une des plus belles zones de la grande zone de Lisbonne. Très appropriée pour famille élargie avec enfants, qui profiteront de la piscine couverte en plus de la grande maison. Lieu de vie par excellence. Et enfin accueil chaleureux et efficace de l’hôte. A recommander sans réserve.

Six families, two generations, everyone without exception was thrilled with their stay at Morada Sol. The house was not only beautiful in a gorgeous setting, but very clean, very well organized, lovingly decorated and able to comfortably accommodate all 20 of us. I felt like we were in a European romantic comedy!

The icing on the cake however was the attention and care provided by our hosts, who helped us with dinner plans, transportation and most of all - navigating the COVID testing system locally. We couldn't be more thankful to the Morada Sol team. Hope to be back again one day.

The apartment, that opens onto the garden and the swimming pool, is outstanding:
well decorated, very clean, spacious, modern, quiet, furnished with great taste, fully equipped, fully air conditioned, very comfortable.
The service is just as good!
