The HOUSES:
The unique Morada Sol estate consists of two units, ‘Villa Cascais’ and ‘Villa Sintra’, set in a beautiful 5000m2 enclosed landscaped garden. When both houses are rented to same group, parties of up to 26 people can enjoy in complete privacy the large covered swimming pool, the gardens and the games area.
The ARCHITECTURE:
The architecture of the main villa (Villa Cascais) is of Mediterranean influence, with the house following the contours of the landscape, curves not cubes, so the house is at one with its setting. Most rooms connect to the outside.
As the house is set on two spacious floors, there are two living rooms, two kitchens, two private patios and many wonderful relaxing spots with different views. The villa has 6 bedrooms in total and can accommodate to up to 14 people.
Across the estate, Villa Sintra has 5-6 bedrooms. With large patios and beautiful sea views, Villa Sintra can accommodate up to 12 people. There is a large living room, a dining room and two fully equipped kitchenettes.
WELCOME IN:
The main entrance is via a spacious entrance hall, with original pine trunks forming the ceiling. Entering the Villa Cascais, the main formal living room is found with a lovely encased fireplace providing the focal point, and 3 full length French doors opening to the gardens. A large TV with Satellite and SKY channels, DVD player and Stereo is provided for the entertainment of guests. To the left it can be found a formal dining area, with its own french doors that open to the terrace and gardens. Upon request, we can provide seating for +25 persons, so larger groups can enjoy a meal together.
Right across the hall to the other side, there is a spacious fully equipped kitchen, with a large table for 8 or more, ideal for less formal meals. Outside the kitchen, in a covered area, a large table of marble, seats up to 18 people and is ideal for large reunions. A lovely built-in barbecue is next to this seating area.
The GARDEN and LOCATION:
What makes this villa extra special is of course the large garden with a separate vegetable patch. With a large covered swimming pool, beautiful grounds in a 5000m2 private estate, close to the beach and the many attractions of Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra, this property offers an ideal setting for a perfect holiday. Here you can find peace and privacy amongst the beauty and tranquillity of nature, but with all you need close by. The covered pool means the water is warm enough to swim from April to November, sliding doors allow you to catch a cooling breeze in the hot summer months. The extensive gardens and outdoor games area can be enjoyed all year round for hours of fun and relaxation.

Prices and Availability

Prices are quoted for up to 20 guests. Add €100/week per additional person. Maximum 26 guests.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking and 80% two months before arrival.
Final cleaning charge of €10 per person.
Admin fees are applied
Security Deposit: €1000, due 1 month in advance via Paypal or credit card and refundable at end of stay.
Prices do not include Tourist Tax charged by Cascais Municipality.
